*This is a cover song by the band Protege! From about 1980. We heard it on a mixtape in about 1993 and then not since. I always loved it and we played it over the years. But it turns out that it's on a compilation called "Sent from Coventry." The compilation features bands from the city of Coventry, England in about 1979/80. You can get it online now. I bought a record of it at Amoeba. But at some points over the years it got so we were just playing a remembered version of a remembered song and did stray pretty far from the original. But never lost the spirit, I hope. This is closer to the original. Of course theirs is better. All credit to them. And proceeds too, if there are any, and any of them should want them. Get the album. All of it is good.
